Meet Corinne
Where do I start…… from the beginning.
My journey into hair and beauty began over 34 years ago, during school holidays spent helping in my auntie’s hairdressing salon. It was there that I first discovered a natural talent for hairstyling — one that quietly stayed with me as I grew.
While still at school, I began my apprenticeship with the Edward Beale School of Hairdressing. Soon after, my family relocated from Victoria to Queensland, a move that felt like my world had been turned upside down. Faced with finding a new school and employer, I stepped away from hairdressing and explored other career paths. Yet no matter where life led, I was always drawn back to beauty.
In the early 1990s, with the encouragement of my now husband, alongside night classes in beauty therapy and countless refresher courses, my passion became a profession. Beauty by Corinne was born — proudly becoming Brisbane’s first-ever mobile wedding hair and makeup service.
Alongside my bridal work, I spent 25 years working across live stage performances, film, television, commercial and editorial projects, gaining invaluable experience in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. My career has included work on large-scale corporate functions and prestigious fashion projects, including Creative generations, International Fashion Week and Jean Paul Gaultier Fashion Freak Road Show — experiences that refined my technical skill, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Over the years, I owned and operated two successful hair and beauty salons while continuing to offer a mobile bridal service. This year marks an extraordinary milestone: my 3,500th bride — a moment I am deeply proud of, and one not many artists can claim.
Today, having sold my salons, I focus on mobile wedding services and in-studio formals, trials, and select hair and makeup appointments, corporate and commercial projects. My studio is based in the charming township of Dayboro, nestled northwest of Brisbane — a peaceful, picturesque setting that feels perfectly suited to weddings and quiet moments of preparation.
Here, I live with my husband, our fur baby, two beehives, and an abundance of local wildlife — a life grounded in calm, creativity, and connection. These values flow into every client experience, creating not just beautiful hair and makeup, but a sense of ease, care, and confidence on some of life’s most special days.

Why choose Corinne
I must admit my favourite part of my job is weddings. I love weddings and romance, I love hair and makeup. I love that I get to do something I’m so passionate about. I always strive for 100% and go above and beyond to achieve this, to ensure you are completely satisfied with your look and my service. Your wedding is my only priority that day.
You’ll find that I strive for 100% going above and beyond, I don’t leave until I’ve exhausted everything I can do to assist you and your party in any way.
You’ll often find me sewing on buttons, pinning buttonholes, fixing that tie, lacing the dresses, repairing earrings – what ever it takes to make your day run smoothly, every detail matters!
With my 35 year’s experience and 3500 weddings I’ve seen it all – and some.
